And I am sure she didn't want to go to the hospital. She always said she hated them. She thought people died there. I don't know if treatment would have helped Nana then. That was a different time. I do know that it does help many now. It is my hope to pevent even one more person from suffering. Although Nana's Girl stems from my Nana, the story, characters and places are fictional. It was too personal to tell otherwise, and I would never have finished with any dry pages. I looked out the window of the bus and there was Nana standing on the platform with her hands on her hips. Nana was short compared to everyone else but me, about five foot two.
