DE LA AUTORA AL LECTOR Haciendo un resumen del libro, sobre los diferentes temas que abarca, quiero hacer énfasis en la veracidad del mismo; son mis deseos que el lector, al pasar sus páginas haya encontrado temas en los cuales se detenga a analizar, encontrará fragmentos de la vida, con los cuales podrá identificarse, meditará sobre aquello que no comprenda...canalizará sus emociones con la nostalgia que invada su corazón, viajará en su pensamiento y llegará a la Tierra prometida... Creo que este sencillo libro les traerá un mensaje; las vidas serán tocadas en sus sentimientos y en sus pensamientos; pero sobre todo lo expuesto está .... el grande y misericordioso amor de Dios...tan necesario para un mundo que se desploma bajo el peso de la incredulidad y la falta de humanismo. Son mis mejores deseos que disfruten ésta obra, y aquello que no hayan podido entender, porque no presenta lógica a su intelecto, medite sobre ello y pueda captar con el discernimiento del espíritu lo que por el sentido de la lógica no haya podido comprender. Estimado lector, en derredor nuestro hay mundos que se entrelazan, y solamente a través del espíritu es que podemos discernirlos, ore, medite, alabe, tenga lapsos de silencio en la presencia de Dios, y misterios le serán revelados...a su mente, a su corazón, a su espíritu, la gracia del Dios infinito y su poder manifiesto, tocaran su vida y transformará la rutina de su diario vivir en una fuente de energías que como caudales que se desbordan correrán como aguas vivas a través de su espíritu llenándolo con el poder que lo cubre; el Dios de amor de la Biblia.

Carlos Fuentes (1928–2012) was the most prominent novelist in contemporary Mexico and, until his recent death, one of the leading voices in Latin America’s Boom generation.
