Abstract: Three definitive characteristics are associated with multi-image media: signal programmed presentation; the use of 3 screens by multi-image producers; and an intimate integration of audio with the multi-image. Aspects of this instructional and educational tool are discussed for educators. Topics include: the multi-image as a communication medium; the proper utilization of multi-image presentation; and the details of planning and producing the presentation. Case studies and student projects are discussed, lists of equipment and materials manufacturers and distributors, and of media on multi-image are appended.
