Full-time Air Force recruiter and part-time youth pastor, Robb Jones's world was filled with people looking for answers, a better tomorrow, or a brighter future. Overwhelmed with negativism magnified by social media, he found himself seeking a way to make a difference. One morning, enjoying coffee with his friend Alberto, he asked a question. Realizing social media had somehow replaced his grandpa's morning paper, "What if every day it provided something positive or inspirational?" He pondered writing a blog each morning to inspire, encourage, or teach others utilizing the Word of God. New Year's Eve 2013, during prayer, Robb was inspired by the Holy Spirit and committed to spend each morning communing with God. He vowed to take his morning inspiration to social media in the form of a daily post. January 1, 2014, the journey began. Over the next 365 days, Robb awoke early, made coffee, and sought inspiration from the Holy Spirit. Posts were personal, inspirational, and often, educational. Some were reflections of past experiences and some were miniature Bible studies. Many included dissection of the written Word and breaking down scriptures over several days. Jesus, an open Bible, and a hot cup of coffee--there's no better way to start a day. This time spent with the Holy Spirit prepares us for the challenges of the coming day. It sure came in handy back in 2018 when the doctor told me that I might not live but two more years. That was hard news, but my faith in Jesus assured me everything was going to be all right. Whether God healed me or crushed me, it was going to be for His glory. In His mercy, He healed me. It did show me that time was precious though. I decided to use the time He gives me to encourage others to pursue a deeper relationship with Christ. I started taking what the Spirit shared with me during our morning coffee talks and sharing it with others through morning texts. Overtime, that dozen or so friends turned into hundreds of people. My wife and friends encouraged me to put these morning devotionals into a book so that others may receive daily inspiration from them. So I did. I'm not a scholar or anything special. I am just my Master's servant trying to help others get to know this great God we serve. So grab a cup of coffee and join us as we explore the infinite depths of God's wisdom.

Wonderful times spend with God where you can get to know Him creates within us strength and a joyful hope. Early morning quietness and before you do anything else has always been a good start for the day. Do it and you will experience the pleasure of being helped daily by precious Holy Spirit. Time with God brings wisdom, insight and the power we all so much need. It gives us the satisfaction of being useful in God’s Kingdom. Seek Him above all else, it is worth it! The book has ample for the new Christian to feast on and much for the mature Christian to digest.
