The only uninspired traditions kept in the MLV are: punctuation and capitalization; chapter and verse numbers; and book order. The Open Translation Bible: The Modern Literal Version Bible is considered 'finished, ' although it has been open for revision by anyone since 1998. Our utmost desire is to have a translation that has no errors and we believe that the best way to produce an error-free translation is to keep it open to the public in the same manner as 'open-source software' is to programmers. Second Edition The republishing of the New Testament TransLine has given me the opportunity to fix all the typos that have been brought to my attention. I give thanks to all who helped by pointing out these things. In addition, I have produced the forthcoming Disciples Literal New Testament (tentative title), which is a simplified version of this book, about one third its size. It is the same translation found in this volume, but now presented in paragraph format (no outline), with interpretive section headings and a few notes. Moving the translation to paragraph format required changes to the punctuation, and these are now incorporated into this volume as well. Some improvements to the outline structure of The New Testament TransLine were also made as an outcome of viewing the text in paragraphs. May God bless you as you study His Word, and may God use these two works according to His good pleasure. In contradiction to the tenor and direction of our current world, the Word of God will stand forever as objective truth corresponding to true reality from God's point of view. This is the Modern Literal Version 2015 Update specifically made "for reading." The chapter & verse number were removed, along with footnoting and other non-inspired sections from the main text. The Modern Young's Literal Translation of the Bible is a modernization of the Young's Literal Translation. The text of the 1898 edition was used for this. The only changes made were to sentence structure and archaic language. The original meanings are still intact. All effort has been made to preserve the original meaning and flow of Young's Literal Translation. The Modern Young's Literal Translation is easier to read and understand with today's English. This is an excellent Bible translation because it retains the original literal translating and and meanings, but is easier to read. This title here is the New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs.

This is the Alpha version of the Modern Literal Version O.T. in 11 pt font size, double column, 8.5" by 11" book. 12-1-16 update. After starting the MLV N.T we were asked multiple times to create an O.T. After seeking advice from multiple Hebrew Scholars, we decided on the "A Conservative Version" done Dr. Walter L Porter, ThD. The ACV was already a great revision of the "American Standard Version 1901." Dr. Porter's goals were to remove archaic wording and put it into better English form (subject, verb, object). We cannot hope to achieve the accuracy of the Old Testament like we did in the "Modern Literal Version New Testament". Hebrew is just not as precise as Koine Greek but so far to date we have corrected about 42,000 places.
