Spring blossoms with new life and new beginnings for the flourishing Amish community of Promise Lodge. And as a just-opened bakery sweetens the air with fresh-baked goodness, residents will find that change can be a most joyous test . . . Recently widowed after twenty years of marriage, Frances Lehman is only just tasting the freedom and opportunity that her Promise Lodge friends enjoy. So she’s not about to be pressured into marriage by her widowed brother-in-law, even if she and her daughter have no real means of support. Much more promising is her new friendship with Preacher Marlin Kurtz, though their respective families don’t see their relationship as proper . . . When Frances suffers a serious injury, she’s determined to prove she can recover—and remain independent—without burdening Marlin. Now, with his steadfast belief in real love tested, Marlin’s hope is that Promise Lodge’s irrepressible residents can help him restore Frances's joy—and that faith will show them a way to turn their fragile second chance into a blessed and abiding future together . . . It may take a Christmas miracle to unite an Amish widow and a preacher in this romance from the author of Morning Star. As the first wedding arrives in the brand new colony of Promise Lodge, the evidence of a community building a foundation for the future is a cause for celebration. But the bishop’s narrow-minded wedding sermon doesn’t sit well with the Bender sisters, the town’s courageous founders, especially widowed Mattie Schwartz. She believes marriage and family aren’t the most important of God’s gifts—even if she suspects her tender feelings for Preacher Amos Troyer run deeper than simple friendship. Amos hasn’t given up hope that stubborn, spirited Mattie will change her mind about taking another husband, but when an accident threatens to change the course of his life forever, he wonders if the Lord has sent him a message. He’ll need faith, hope, and charity to find the right path—and a Christmas blessing to convince Mattie to walk it with him. One thing I can guarantee you...you will not be disappointed by reading this book. It will surpass all your expectations. You will then realize that you have a sense of purpose. His words regarding my faith and hopefully this book will cause people to wonder as to Why we have more faith in science than the GOD who made the sciences and given them the knowledge to treat our symptoms and without any real cures insight ,because that isnt profitable for any curable illness which shouldnt have no affect on our beliefs and faith that many can be heal without no limits in sight. GOD is still GOD of the universe and knows us better then we know or known by others as our years pass And with the miracles He provides hasnt caught on with the children of the King yet but I do believe with all my heart and soul that when the time is right and we are challenged we as a people of GOD has risen to the occasions and brought honor to CHRIST JESUS and the FATHER. I would like to dedicate this book to a women to whom the LORD hadnt support me with her prayers and support in every fashion of the word and My best friend beside the LORD and I give thanks to her on behalf of the LORD and myself. AND MAYBE THE LORD WILL BLESS SOME OTHER TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL AND MY GOD BE MANIFIED AND GLORIFIED FOR WHAT HE HAS INSTILL WITHIN ME , AND THE ANSWER TO QUESTION ISNT AS FAR AS WE THINK BUT, STANDING BESIDES US JUST WAITING TO BE USED.
