What could the Lord do with a handful of surrendered men?In Judges 6:11 the Angel of The Lord appeared to Gideon and said to him "The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valor." Gideon's response was "why me? I am the least in my father's house and my father's house is the least in the whole tribe of Manasseh." Yet he was called and anointed. We see proof of this later when the Lord calls him to a battle and then narrows his fighting men down to only 300. The narrowing of the final batch was accomplished by observing if they would cup the water and drink or lap the water like a dog.
