This book examines the phenomenon of school shootings to critically and objectively search for ways to minimize or stop these incidences. It examines the profiles and tactics of the shooters themselves, looks at suggestions for defending the schools and classrooms, and offers some compromise regulations requiring compromise by all to, in the short term, minimize the occurrences. But it also suggests that such simple answers are not even addressing the real root causes of the problem and to do that we have to look in the most uncomfortable of places... ourselves.
