In 1586, six years after the Book of Concord was published, Lutheran theologian Jakob Andreae and Calvinist French Reformed theologian Theodore Beza met to debate the differences between the two confessions. Their debate centered on the Lord's Supper, the person of Christ, Baptism, art and music in churches, and predestination.
