I was born on October 2,1957, and am presently forty-eight years of age. When I was young, I had a great love of reading and writing. I am currently divorced, and probably will remain single for the rest of my life. I am also currently retired from the Target Corporation, where I had worked for some fifteen years. I have taken this time to finally do one thing which I have longed to do my whole lifeahave a book published. Over the years, I have tried several times to get a collection of poetry published with no success, since at the time poetry was seen as unpublishable. Then, I tried a novel which I found myself to be somewhat good, but it was, as well, seen as unpublishable. This may be my last chance to be published, and if I get this work published, I would also hope that I could get my poetry published, since maybe now poetry is seen as a publishable commodity. Most of all I hope you enjoy reading this compilation and find something inspiring in it somewhere.
