A list of the settlers in the town of Frankfort, Maine in 1788. The list contains the names of the old settlers who settled under Colonel Goldthwait and the new settlers. Date was taken from the docket. Docket notes, given by Lt Colonel [Benjamin?] Shute, Capt Black and others.

Document is possibly in Henry Knox's handwriting. An agreement between the settlers in Frankfort, Maine and Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, and Isaac Winslow (who are the heirs of Brigadier General Samuel Waldo). The settlers agree to accept Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, and Isaac Winslow's proposition for purchasing lots of lands in Frankfort. The terms and conditions of the sale are also provided.

A list of names of the inhabitants who were present at Thomaston, Maine on 17 September 1788. The names are of inhabitants who did not compromise themselves to them [possibly the Waldo heirs?] but now wish to.
