The writing of this book did not start out as a plan to write a book. Many little things and circumstances all contributed to one day starting to write down each day's thoughts of my heart on a piece of paper carried in my pocket, the collection of which has now become the book: Love, Life, and Hope.

The poems written for this book were written to entertain the reader, and I hope that the reader takes something out of it in a positive way. The majority of the poems that I have written were written for the person's everyday point of view and derive from the surroundings and goings-on in daily lives. These poems were written from an idea that has brought them to life with paper and ink.

When stormy trials hit us, our recollection of Jesus' faithfulness can fade as worry, anger, jealousy, fear, sickness, stress, and unforgiveness threaten to rob us of the love and hope that can be found in Jesus. And yet we can experience comfort in the womb of these stormy seasons. Pondering on the stories surrounding Jesus' life presents us with practical wisdom on how to respond to the turbulent episodes we encounter. Jesus' teachings can rejuvenate and instill within us a sense of hope in his love. If we allow him, Jesus can be enough for us, in and out of the storms of life.
