Overholt writes that Jessie enjoyed seeing Mrs, Markham at Zona's dinner in New York City. He writes to Mrs. Markham as he is not sure whether Mr. Markham is at home, but requests some copies of "The Man with the Hoe" and "Lincoln" for Rev. Harrold Mohr who gave him a motor tour of Mt. Union College. He also requests a copy of "Eighty Songs at Eighty" to be presented to Frederick Wilson, a retired minister. Check for $3.00 is enclosed.

Marion writes that she is like a princesss in a fairy tale as she will soon be getting married.

Reese writes that she was happy with the notice in the last Poetry Bulletin. Reese has given up school teaching, "praise God" she writes. Reese asks Mrs. Markham to mention in the Bulletin there will be a second printing of her book.
