Le présent dossier est le résultat d'une collaboration entre des chercheur(e)s québécois(e)s et français(e)s à propos des processus et des procédures nationales d'intégration ou d'inclusion des étudiants en situation de handicap à l'université. Cette collaboration trouve son origine du côté québécois à la fois dans un constat et un questionnement. Depuis déjà quelques années et suite aux dynamiques instillées dans le monde autour de grands textes, chartes et conventions, qu'il n'est plus besoin de nommer ici, les universités québécoises ont mis en place un certain nombre de procédures afin de rendre possible l'accès de l'université à tous les élèves qui le souhaitaient. Comme dans de nombreuses universités dans le monde, des services d'accueil et des procédures ont donc été créés pour répondre à des situations spécifiques. Bon gré, mal gré, et après de nombreuses recherches et évaluation d'une politique dite d'accommodements raisonnables, il a été jugé que les savoir-faire en termes d'accessibilité universitaire étaient pertinents. In October 2005, UNESCO Member States adopted by acclamation the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights. For the first time in the history of bioethics, some 190 countries committed themselves and the international community to respect and apply fundamental ethical principles related to medicine, the life sciences and associated technologies. This publication provides a new impetus to the dissemination of the Declaration, and is part of the organisation's continuous effort to contribute to the understanding of its principles worldwide. The authors, who were almost all involved in the elaboration of the text of the Declaration, were asked to respond on each article: Why was it included? What does it mean? How can it be applied? Their responses shed light on the historical background of the text and its evolution throughout the drafting process. They also provide a reflection on its relevance to previous declarations and bioethical literature, and its potential interpretation and application in challenging and complex bioethical debates.

Stakeholders show a growing interest for organic food and farming (OF&F), which becomes a societal component. Rather than questioning whether OF&F outperforms conventional agriculture or not, the main question addressed in this book is how, and in what conditions, OF&F may be considered as a prototype towards sustainable agricultures. The book gathers 25 papers introduced in a first chapter. The first section investigates OF&F production processes and its capacity to benefit from the systems functioning to achieve higher self-sufficiency. The second one proposes an overview of organic performances providing commodities and public goods. The third one focuses on organics development pathways within agri-food systems and territories. As well as a strong theoretical component, this book provides an overview of the new challenges for research and development. It questions the benefits as well as knowledge gaps with a particular emphasis on bottlenecks and lock-in effects at various levels.
