Este libro de meditaciones pretende ayudar a crecer en la devoción a la Virgen María, especialmente en el mes de mayo. Hay una meditación para cada día de este mes, en la que se comienza con una oración, después viene una pequeña anécdota y, por último, termina con una oración final. Los textos se han tomado del libro de san Alfonso María de Ligorio titulado “Las glorias de María” (1750). Al ser un libro antiguo, el lenguaje y los ejemplos que aparecen son los típicos de dicha época. De esta forma tan sencilla el libro puede ayudar a practicar esa devoción tan bonita de llevar cada día del mes de mayo una flor a la Virgen María.
