A land agreement involving Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, Isaac Winslow (the heirs and representatives of the late Brigadier General Samuel Waldo), and the inhabitants of Penobscot Bay and Canaan, Maine. The heirs agree to supply the inhabitants who agree to their payment terms with warrantee deeds. The land is being sold to the inhabitants for four shillings, or 2/3 of a dollar, per acre without interest as long as payments are timely. A list of the inhabitants and the acreage owned is also included.
