An agreement between the settlers in Frankfort, Maine and Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, and Isaac Winslow (who are the heirs of Brigadier General Samuel Waldo). The settlers agree to accept Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, and Isaac Winslow's proposition for purchasing lots of lands in Frankfort. The terms and conditions of the sale are also provided.

Instructions are also given to Colonel Benjamin Shute for protecting the above-mentioned names' property rights. Two inserts are included.

A list of the settlers in the town of Frankfort, Maine in 1788. The list contains the names of the old settlers who settled under Colonel Goldthwait and the new settlers. Date was taken from the docket. Docket notes, given by Lt Colonel [Benjamin?] Shute, Capt Black and others.

A land agreement involving Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, Isaac Winslow (the heirs and representatives of the late Brigadier General Samuel Waldo), and the inhabitants of Penobscot Bay and Canaan, Maine. The heirs agree to supply the inhabitants who agree to their payment terms with warrantee deeds. The land is being sold to the inhabitants for four shillings, or 2/3 of a dollar, per acre without interest as long as payments are timely. A list of the inhabitants and the acreage owned is also included.

Signed by Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, and Isaac Winslow. The document also includes a list of signatures of second parties to the agreement. Appears to be a legal land agreement (possibly part of the Waldo patent) involving Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, and Isaac Winslow. Date was added at a later date in red pen.
