This long-popular story of family life on an Indiana farm in the United States never loses its charm. It is told by 'little Sister', the youngest of a large brood of individuals, herself probably the most individual of them all. It is her adoration of her big brother, Laddie, which focuses the book into something more than a romance.

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos.
