Dieses Buch enthalt zwei Teile. Der erste, einfUhrende Teil unternimmt den Versuch, mit wissenschaftstheoretischen Mitteln die Grundlagenprobleme der Betriebswirtschaftslehre zu bestimmen. Die Aufgabe des zweiten Teils ist es, Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Wissenschaftstheorie so zusammenzudenken, daB die methodologischen Vorschlage den Aufbau betriebswirtschaftlicher Theorie direkt betreffen, und nieht in wissenschaftstheoretischer Aligemeinheit und Unverbind lichkeit tiber Theorien tiberhaupt reflektieren. Das Hauptziel der Untersuchung besteht darin, diesen unmittelbaren Bezug wissenschaftstheoretischer Oberlegun gen herauszustellen. Ihre Absicht ist, zu zeigen, daB die Betriebswirtschaftslehre eine praktische Wissenschaft ist - und zwar aus wissenschaftstheoretischen Griinden und nicht aus diesen oder jenen pragmatischen Erfordernissen. Dies findet in der entscheidungstheoretischen Methodologie (Logik und Wahrscheinlichkeitstheo rie) eben so seinen Niederschlag wie in der Logik empirischer Forschung. Aus dem praktischen Verstandnis betriebswirtschaftlicher Theorie und Methodologie ergibt sieh auch eine zwanglose Einordnung in die Okonomie. Den Zusammenhang zwischen okonomischer Theorie und Betriebswirtschaftslehre stiftet der beiden gemeinsame Handlungsbegriff.
