The whole arrangement was well suited to impress the truths of the Gospel on the heathen mind, and particularly the regular recur rence of the same language and ideas in the Sunday services. Two resolutions Offered by the Rev. Mr. Young, which were referred to the Committee on Education, and are are printed on page 28 of the Journal. A resolution proposed by Mr. Ladson in relation to the appointment Of a Committee, to consider the best mode Of providing for the relief of aged and infirm Clergymen. (see page 31 Of the Journal.) A motion for the adoption Of a new Rule of Order, in relation to the order in which the Bishop'shall vote, which motion will be found recorded on page 34 of the printed Journal.
