Joseph Smith's life was devoted to inspiring people to come to Christ. His vision of God and His Son Jesus Christ, while praying earnestly to know which church is true, has inspired millions of people to seek answers from God and follow the Holy Spirit. He translated and published the Book of Mormon, a transcript of ancient journals of prophets living on the American continent, and restored the gospel of Jesus Christ. His role as a true seer and revelator continued throughout his life with countless revelations and personal testimonies of God and Jesus Christ. This reference volume contains important documents, details, and other information relating to Joseph Smith and his teachings as the Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wayne J. Lewis has a personal library of over 500 books on Joseph Smith and has made a lifetime study of his life and teachings. Now this research is available so all can gain (or increase) their testimony of this great Prophet.

Volume 2 is a continued compilation of in-depth articles written by Richard and Pamela Price for Vision, entitled Joseph Smith Fought Polygamy, to prove that Joseph Smith, Jr. was innocent of polygamy. These articles, with their forty-five years of careful research and extensive documentation, bring startling new evidence that, instead of being a polygamist, Joseph Smith actually fought against the dogma.

Volume 1 of the Histories series, published in 2012, presents the six personal and church histories written, dictated, or closely supervised by Joseph Smith. This volume includes accounts of Joseph Smith's foundational spiritual experiences, including his first vision of Deity, the ministering of the angel Moroni to him, the discovery of the gold plates and translation of the Book of Mormon, and the bestowal of priesthood authority. Other histories in this volume give a day-by-day account of the mid-1830s in Kirtland, Ohio, and Joseph Smith's narration of the "Mormon War" and the events leading up his imprisonment in Missouri. Also included is Joseph Smith's original summary of church beliefs and practices, later known as the Articles of Faith.
