This is a digest version in English of the “Research for the Information and Media Society of Japan.” The original Japanese edition has diverse data and extensive analysis on media industries. And it has been published for more than 20 years. The booklet has been a must read for those in the media, advertising, the Internet and contents businesses and has earned the confidence of the industry. It has become a valuable data book as it contains the data on comics and animation genre, which are of high interest both at home and overseas. The English edition is reorganized from the Japanese edition and is released for the first time as an e-book. The book is made up of commentaries and data.
