Japheth the Tainted is on the hunt for a mysterious demon vampire. But meeting her face-to-face might disarm his warrior spirit—and spark an unquenchable passion with apocalyptic consequences. As a fallen angel, Japheth is determined to make his way back to heaven by staying pure and slaying hellspawn. With a new scourge of vampires unleashed by a blood-drinking demon, the Prince of Thirst, there’s plenty to be done. But Japheth is after one vampire in particular—the one they call the Angel Slayer. Rose Harley never wanted to be a vampire, but the Prince of Thirst can turn even the kindest soul into a soldier of hell. Feeling abandoned by God, she stalks the West Village taking revenge on his angels—until she meets her match. When Japheth and Rose encounter each other, the battle is fierce and charged with desire. But when they discover a common enemy—the Prince of Thirst himself—they form a dangerous alliance that could either cost them their eternal lives, or spark a love more powerful than heaven or hell.

When the good girl goes bad… Months ago, Melody Campbell was abducted by vampires, rescued by vampires, and now she’s employed by vampires. Through it all, she kept her upbeat attitude and harbored a not-so-secret crush on one of her rescuers. But when she absorbs an evil demon’s powers, her cheerful attitude falters. The girl who always looked on the bright side now has a dark side, and it’s more powerful than anyone could have imagined. The sweet human Creed rescued months ago has morphed into an unstable demonling. Before her change, he’d kept his distance. Her short human life span couldn’t compare to his as a vampire, and her loss would ruin him. Now, she’s as immortal as he is, but he needs to restore her humanity before she accidentally hurts someone innocent, or worse, before her rage tips the scales and she becomes a demon he must destroy. Will Melody succumbs to her dark side? Creed is a paranormal romance in the New Vampire Disorder series. For readers who also like Larissa Ione, T.S. On the edge of the Arctic Ocean, above the Arctic Circle, the prehistoric settlements at Point Hope, Alaska, represent a truly remarkable accomplishment in human biological and cultural adaptations. Presenting a set of anthropological analyses on the human skeletal remains and cultural material from the Ipiutak and Tigara archaeological sites, The Foragers of Point Hope sheds new light on the excavations from 1939–41, which provided one of the largest sets of combined biological and cultural materials of northern latitude peoples in the world. A range of material items indicated successful human foraging strategies in this harsh Arctic environment. They also yielded enigmatic artifacts indicative of complex human cultural life filled with dense ritual and artistic expression. These remnants of past human activity contribute to a crucial understanding of past foraging lifeways and offer important insights into the human condition at the extreme edges of the globe.
