William Brinton (1632-1699/1700) married Ann Bagley, and immigrated from England to Chester (now Delaware) County, Pennsylvania. Direct descendant David Brinton (1814-1878), a Mormon convert, moved to Illinois and later to Salt Lake City, Utah. Descendants of David lived in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, California and elsewhere.
