Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of John Paul Dittenhafer. He was baptized on 3 Oct 1706 in the Reformed Church in Hassloch, Germany. He married Anna Maria. Paul with his wife and son immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 29 Aug 1730. They settled in York County, Pennsylvania. He died ca. 1747. He and his wife were the parents of seven children. Descendants lived mostly in Pennsylvania.

Henry Glatfelter, son of Caspar Glattfelter and Anna Maria, was born in 1752 in York County, Pennsylvania. He married Margaret Heilman (1760-1847). They had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.
