The Delaware Valley is a distinct region situated within the Middle Atlantic states, encompassing portions of Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. In the Spring of 1891, a special arrangement was made to explore for the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, where, in 1893 the results of the two years' work were exhibited and are now in the Field Museum of N atural History.
