They were talking enthusiastically about the parade of the image of the Virgin of Carmen in the ancon down on the Barceloneta River as an opening of the July festivities dedicated for the holy patron. In this third sequel, Yeliza learns about the cultural and political aspects of the islands history. She learns about the importance of mangles to protect the endemic species and the migratory birds too.
