Signed by Henry Knox, and John Rynier and John Gleason as witnesses. A land bond for Robert Houston, payable to Knox. Houston gave Knox a note for [dollar sign] 290 which is to be paid in three years plus interest for a 100 acre lot in Hancock County, Maine.

Describes a shooting incident where he and his colleagues were fired on (likely involving the conflict between the settlers and Knox's surveying). Also lists various men who have been apprehended. Mentions he does not believe his armed force is sufficient enough to apprehend everyone and requests immediate help.
