Names are very powerful. Some people like Ima Hogg became famous and lived well with a difficult name. Others did not do so well. Some were born with a good name and married into trouble. Jodi Pass married Bill Gasse and became Jodi Pass-Gasse. One lady I knew never married her boyfriend because she did not want to be known as the wife of a Jack Haase. Alotta Johnson married a man my brother knew named Henry Manure. She became Alotta Manure. Jay Leno always ended his Monday night monologue with interesting couples who married. I sent him the Shiney-Hiney wedding, and he used it to end his monologue. He also had interesting names of people and their occupations. Dr. Bendover is a proctologist. (I wonder if his wife is Eileen, with one short leg.) My funny names begin with the King family. Joe was a weather forecaster. Would you believe a person who says It will rain, and I am Joe King?

It seems that government wants to invade every part of our lives: our workplace, our religion, even our families. And now our debt! As a small businessman, I am appalled at the spending deficit, year after year. Dont our people in Congress know that even the interest on our national debt is a backbreaking load on our economy? Perhaps we have too many lawyers roaming the Hallowed Halls and too few responsible businessmen. The awful specter of death overwhelmed me. Never again would I hear her bubbly laughter as she jumped into my lap to hug me. Never again would she delight us with her little-girl antics. I begged God to spare her. I confessed every sin I could remember. It was not to be. In His infinite wisdom, God took her home. Oh, Susan. I consider the Bible to be the most practical book ever written. It teaches us how to live in a world that seems to consider honesty and integrity to be a fault. It teaches purity in a world where chastity is pictured as unnatural. Hello, I know we've met before, at least momentarily a time or two since you were conceived. Recently I've heard you've mistaken others to be me. I wouldn't typically be bothered by that, as I don't force myself upon anyone who doesn't want to befriend me. The reality is I am keenly aware of the truth that without me you are nothing. I'm not being arrogant when I state this fact. I'm just being loving. I always tell the truth. Missing me or mistaking others to be me may be the gravest mistake anyone could ever make.
