Augustine Jean (John) Gustin (1657-1719), son of Edmonmd Jean Gustin, immigrated from the Isle of Jersey to Cambridge and Watertown, Massachusetts, married Elizabeth Browne, moved to Falmouth, Maine and then to Lynn, Massachusetts, where Thomas Gustin (1698-1765), their sixth child, was born. Thomas married Sarah Holmes in 1722 and settled in Colchester, Connecticut. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and elsewhere.
