Tens of millions of Christians live in China today, many of them leading double lives or in hiding from a government that relentlessly persecutes them. Bob Fu, whom the Wall Street Journal called "The pastor of China's underground railroad," is fighting to protect his fellow believers from persecution, imprisonment, and even death. God's Double Agent is his fascinating and riveting story. Bob Fu is indeed God's double agent. By day Fu worked as a full-time lecturer in a communist school; by night he pastored a house church and led an underground Bible school. This can't-put-it-down book chronicles Fu's conversion to Christianity, his arrest and imprisonment for starting an illegal house church, his harrowing escape, and his subsequent rise to prominence in the United States as an advocate for his brethren. God's Double Agent will inspire readers even as it challenges them to boldly proclaim and live out their faith in a world that is at times indifferent, and at other times murderously hostile, to those who spread the gospel.

In Double Agency, Tina Chen proposes impersonation as a paradigm for teasing out the performative dimensions of Asian American literature and culture. Asian American acts of impersonation, she argues, foreground the limits of subjectivity even as they insist on the undeniable importance of subjecthood. By decoupling imposture from impersonation, Chen shows how Asian American performances have often been misinterpreted, read as acts of betrayal rather than multiple allegiance. A central paradox informing the book—impersonation as a performance of divided allegiance that simultaneously pays homage to and challenges authenticity and authority—thus becomes a site for reconsidering the implications of Asian Americans as double agents. In exploring the possibilities that impersonation affords for refusing the binary logics of loyalty/disloyalty, real/fake, and Asian/American, Double Agency attends to the possibilities of reading such acts as "im-personations"—dynamic performances, and a performance dynamics—through which Asian Americans constitute themselves as speaking and acting subjects.

In this book, William Ian Miller offers his reflections on the perverse consequences, indeed often the opposite of intended effects, of so-called 'good things'. Noted for his remarkable erudition, wit, and playful pessimism, Miller here ranges over topics from personal disasters to literary and national ones. Drawing on a truly immense store of knowledge encompassing literature, philosophy, theology, and history, he excavates the evidence of human anxieties around scarcity in all its forms (from scarcity of food to luck to where we stand in the eyes of others caught in a game of musical chairs we often do not even know we are playing). With wit and sensitivity, along with a large measure of fearless self-scrutiny, he points to and invites us to recognize the gloomy, neurotic, despondent tendencies of reasonably sentient human life. The book is a careful examination of negative beliefs, inviting an experience of bleak fellow-feeling among the author, the reader and many a hapless soul across the centuries. Just what makes you more nervous, he asks, a run of good luck, or a run of bad?

This book is for you! Anti Christ introduces you to yourself, your government and to your god. People, from all walks of life and religion, wonder about the validity of religion. Are physical creatures eternal beings cast in a prison of flesh or did life accidentally spring forth from the absurd and incoherent twists and turns of evolution? The several kinds of reality this book introduces fill the voids of understanding about reality with real knowledge. The book is not about religion, spirituality, occult, or anything concretely physical. It encompasses all the deceitful control schemes laid on you like obedient dogs in their traces. You cannot afford to stay ignorant for your continued existence depends on knowing what and who you are physically and spiritually. The mysteries of life are caused by your belief systems. To believe means that you do not know. Belief is the portal to hell, the permanent state of living death; knowledge is the portal to reality and eternal life. Science and religion cannot give the insight this book brings. Whether you believe the material is for you, or not, you cannot afford to remain ignorant for the route back to true reality is made clear. Ignorance always portrays itself as brilliance. The world is full of brilliant pretenders. My brother, Anti Christ leads you from example to example to understand the hoax on which physical reality is based. The more real life seems the more you are betrayed and trapped. The greatest mystery in the mind is the mystery of yourself. Vaguely, you all believe to be strangers guilty of something not understood. Anti Christ gives you the better outlook on life than any ideology, ism or cult you now subscribe to. Through believing clever deceits mankind never saw physical awareness for what it is. What humanity endlessly searches for lies revealed in the pages of this book. It overrules all human and, so-called, godly knowledge. I could not have said it better. Make it yours. Jesus Christ

This boxset collects the three books of The Lobdell Chronicles. Every Planet Has a Godschurch The Horde invaded. Demons fought with us. Now, they live among us. Now, they rule us. I work for one of them as a hired assassin. I hate the work, but it's a better life than most. The only thing that keeps me going is my hatred of the gods that allows monsters to escape Hell to begin with... ...and left us to pick up the pieces. The Horde was bad, but at least they would have vaporized us quickly, not kept us as slaves. Luckily, a new contract just came across my desk. The chance to kill a god. Velaska. She deserves to die, and I'm going to put a bullet right between her purple eyes. It won't make my life any better, but at least it will give me some satisfaction, at least for a moment, and that's all you can hope for in this crazy, mixed up world. If you love mythology, space opera, and edge of your seat thrillers, then this book is for you. There's Every Reason to Fear The gods are being hunted. They are dying. The Godless are winning. I've hunted them across the galaxy, but every time I take down one Godless cell, three more take their place. They are relentless, determined, and pissed off, but they are also wrong. The gods are scared. They have never worried about death before, and now death lurks around every corner. I've protected them as best I can, but my best hasn't good enough. I must find the Godless base and destroy them before they kill every god in the universe; before they destroy the Godschurch in the process. If you love portal fantasy, subverting mythology, and magic, then you'll love this book. The End Tastes Like Pancakes The Godschurch is gone. Its members have scattered throughout the galaxy. There is no hope left. The Godless have kept us on the run since destroying our base two years ago. We've hopped from planet to planet, trying our best not to be wiped out. Now, we finally have a lead. We know where they've moved their base, and we're ready to mount an attack. We don't have enough resources. We don't have enough men. We don't have enough gods on our side. But we have to take our shot. It's the last one we might ever have. If we don't stop the Godless now, there will not be another chance. It's all or nothing, and the odds are stacked against us. If you like reinterpretations of mythology, non-stop action, and exciting battles, this is the book for you. Three books in one! Get it now.
