Samuel Chapin (1598-1675) married Cicely Penny in 1623, and the family emigrated from England to Roxbury, Massachusetts about 1630, and later moved to Mendon and then Springfield, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes some history of the Chapin Family Association, its reunions and officers (with headquarters at Springfield, Massachusetts).
