For Those Tears I Died chronicles an amazing transformation. Marsha Stevens wrote the much-loved classic, "For Those Tears I Died (Come to the Water)" when she was just sixteen. One of the most popular songs of the Jesus movement, it is a testimony to God's saving grace, replete with images of baptism and liberation... Years later, Christian Century Magazine said she became "Conservative Christianity's worst nightmare: a Jesus-loving, Bible-believing, God-fearing lesbian Christian." This is her story.

This book is about my view of the tears shed by God and mankind in the process of deciding if we want to accept the free gift of eternal life God gave us through his son, or go our own way and spend eternity with Satan. God has put a burden on my heart for people who do not want to give their lives to Jesus and that do not want to let the Holy Spirit guide them through their life here on earth. I spent about half of my life without Jesus and over half with him and I am here to tell you it is much better with Jesus than without him. This book is my idea of how many tears God cried while hoping the human race would decide to be obedient. But after thousands of years of hoping, he realized the human race just cant seem to get it together so he went ahead with his plan to save the human race. Jesus Christ was born for the sole purpose of dying a horrible, horrible death to pay for all the things we do that do not please God. I hope this book will help people to see that without God we are nothing. We are in the end times and we need to decide, do we want to give our life to God or do we want to give our life to Satan? I hope and pray we all make the right decision.

She rebels at that notion, for it means revisiting past hurts and strugglesand who wants to go back there. Plus, she wonders, Just who would be interested in my life story? Gods replyRead the journals. To her surprise, as she begins to start the journey back, she finds that indeed the roots causing her sadness are still buried within. To her added surprise, as she begins her RV travels, the entries of the past connect to the events occurring now, and God uses all to answer a prayer cried out two years into her marriage: Do something about him; change him, change him like you did St. Paul. The Tears of the Rajasis a sweeping history of the British in India, seen through the experiences of a single Scottish family. For a century the Lows of Clatto survived mutiny, siege, debt and disease, everywhere from the heat of Madras to the Afghan snows. They lived through the most appalling atrocities and retaliated with some of their own. Each of their lives, remarkable in itself, contributes to the story of the whole fragile and imperilled, often shockingly oppressive and devious but now and then heroic and poignant enterprise. On the surface, John and Augusta Low and their relations may seem imperturbable, but in their letters and diaries they often reveal their loneliness and desperation and their doubts about what they are doing in India. The Lows are the family of the author's grandmother, and a recurring theme of the book is his own discovery of them and of those parts of the history of the British in India which posterity has preferred to forget. The book brings to life not only the most dramatic incidents of their careers - the massacre at Vellore, the conquest of Java, the deposition of the boy-king of Oudh, the disasters in Afghanistan, the Reliefs of Lucknow and Chitral - but also their personal ordeals: the bankruptcies in Scotland and Calcutta, the plagues and fevers, the deaths of children and deaths in childbirth. And it brings to life too the unrepeatable strangeness of their lives: the camps and the palaces they lived in, the balls and the flirtations in the hill stations, and the hot slow rides through the dust. An epic saga of love, war, intrigue and treachery, The Tears of the Rajas is surely destined to become a classic of its kind.
