I am a physician practicing medicine and pulmonary subspecialty in New York. Photography has been my lifelong hobby. In pursuit of my hobby I have taken courses in Photoshop, attended photography lectures, seminars and workshops and have traveled with photographic groups to near and remote places. In camera clubs I have lectured and given slide shows and have heard lectures by professional and amateur photography experts. Some of my photographs have been published in medical journal, magazines and brochures. This is my first book of photographs selecting flowers as the major subject. The flower and botanical images were taken during travels in different parts of the world but mostly in our home using available props, by daylight or floodlights. I used a 35mm Nikon camera and more recently a Panasonic Lumix.
