For over 50 years, the Dake Annotated Reference Bible has set the standard for study bibles, combining thoughtful scholarship with easy accessibility, and providing the serious student with the tools necessary to "rightly divide the Word of Truth" (2 Tim. 2:15). In keeping with that heritage, we at Dake Publishing are excited to introduce the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Dake Annotated Reference Bible. The NKJV remains true to the tradition of the original King James Version (KJV), which has been faithfully preserving the Word of God for more than 400 years. The goal of the NKJV translators has not been innovation, but rather a desire to "unlock" for modern readers the "spiritual treasures found especially in the Authorized Version of the Holy Scriptures."
