Luego de un largo período en el que el ingreso determinó los análisis sobre pobreza y el enfoque del desarrollo se redujo al crecimiento económico, parece que un concepto multidimensional sobre la pobreza --entendida como privación humana-- puede contribuir a una comprensión más acertada y compleja que capte la multiplicidad de su expresión.
