Edición de José Manuel Romero Cuevas Los artículos publicados por Herbert Marcuse entre 1929 y 1931, inéditos hasta el momento en castellano, constituyen un momento de gran originalidad en la filosofía del siglo XX. En ellos puso en diálogo ideas procedentes de la hermenéutica (Dilthey y el primer Heidegger) y del pensamiento crítico (Marx, Korsch y Lukács). El objetivo de Marcuse en esta original y arriesgada empresa fue repensar las bases filosóficas de la teoría social de matriz marxista, para devolverle un alcance crítico devaluado por el marxismo ortodoxo y por los diversos revisionismos dominantes en su época. El resultado es una aportación a la teoría social que anticipa importantes aspectos de la teoría crítica de la sociedad desarrollada por Horkheimer y por el propio Marcuse en Nueva York en los años 30. Pero, al mismo tiempo, estos textos escritos por el que fue asistente de M. Heidegger en Friburgo, testifican la permanencia de los problemas heideggerianos como las tensiones que provocaron en su proyecto de renovación crítica de la teoría de la sociedad.

The 2002 issue of the Yearbook concerns the notion of reasonableness in philosohical, legal and economic domains. After going back over the main definition of the concept of reasonable in greek philosophy, the analysis carried out in this volume deals with the role played by the notion of reasonableness in practical philosophy and namely according to hermeneutical view of it. With regard to legal field, the notion of reasonableness is a core notion in constitutional law and it assumes specific meanings in private, criminal, international, and administrative law. Reasonableness turns out to be crucial with regard to many topics, such as interpretation of rights, balancing of fundamental rights, and interpretation of standards.

In this book Clodovis Boff rigorously and passionately erects the methodological scaffolding that is necessary to construct a true theology of the political, a true theology of liberation. Much of the book is devoted to clarifying and articulating the boundaries of the relationships among theology, the political, the social sciences, hermeneutics, and praxis. As an element of that constructive work, Boff carefully points out the past and present theoretical shortcomings of political theology and the theology of liberation. Thus the book fills a methodological void that has hampered the full development of a theology of the political, and it blazes a path beyond what the author calls the "first phase" of liberation theology.

O presente trabalho corresponde à terceira parte expandida da dissertação de mestrado do autor, defendida em 07/04/2014 no âmbito da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Federal do Paraná, sob a orientação dos professores Luiz Edson Fachin e Carlos Eduardo Pianovski Ruzyk. Na obra, o autor busca decompor a crítica do marxismo à propriedade privada para aclarar como se deu a construção de uma nova filosofia pautada pela luta de classes e como ela contribuiu para a criação da teoria crítica do direito, que propagou a noção de função social da propriedade.
