The Environmental Assessment addresses the environment impacts for a proposed aquatic ecosystem restoration project in East Birch Creek near Pilot Rock, Oregon. The project provides structures such as J-hooks, cross vanes, and chute cut-offs, and vegetative plantings and fencing, as the basic tools to reduce erosion and promote stream stabilization. Natural stability concept methodology is used to determine the preferred alternative for stream restoration. Impacts to species listed under the Endangered Species Act (Steelhead) are discussed. FONSI and comment response package are included.
