Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings from the Journal (Logan, Utah), the Cache Valley daily herald, the Deseret news, and the Salt Lake Tribune from 1923 through approximately 1938. Most concern pioneers and early history of areas in Cache Valley. The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown; possibly it was created by Joel E. Ricks, Utah State University history professor.

Consists primarily of photocopies of newspaper articles about events in Logan, Utah and surrounding areas celebrating Cache Valley's centennial, 1956. Also includes photocopied event programs and some other memorabilia.
