Henry Cobb was born in about 1605-1610 and probably lived in Kent, England. He married Patience Hurst, daughter of James Hurst, in about 1631. They had seven children. He married Sarah Hinckley in 1649 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. They had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Henry Cobb lived in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1629, in Scituate in 1633, and in Barnstable in 1639. He died in 1679. He married Patience Hurst in 1631 and after her death, Sarah Hinckley in 1649. One descendant, Nathan Cobb, was born in Sandwich, Massachusetts in 1763. He married Lydia Bliss in 1786. They lived in New Hampshire and Vermont. Also includes family of Abraham Bryant who married Mary Russell in 1664.

Joseph Cobb (ca.1588-1653/1654) emigrated from England to Elizabeth City (now Hampton), Virginia, and later settled on land near Smithfield, Isle of Wight County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in England, Scotland and elsewhere.
