Godzilla does not come by accident nor by chance. He is designed for you at that moment, and when we begin to understand that dreams are wonderful treasures especially designed for our development, Godzilla can become a door that leads to a great unfolding of new potentialities. Dreams are metaphors designed to lead us to become the best of who we were meant to be, and when we become those persons, the world benefits from our actions and attitudes and becomes a more peaceful place. Winter considers the dreamers and the nature of their dreams as well as their connections to one another and to the history of utopian thought. By restoring minor utopias to their rightful place in the recent past, Winter fills an important gap in the history of social thought and action in the twentieth century.
