Description of proposed action: The proposed action is the conduct and support of the government test and evalutation of advanced weapons systems. Teh actual conduct of tests and the support for testing involves several types of activities, some of which may cause impacts on the human invironment. This PEIS considers the potential impacts, narrows the scope to foucson those that may be significant, and provides the basis for the test palnner to evaluation, mitigate, and minimize impaces that may result from any given test.

An assessment of environmental impacts associated with the stationing and training of new Combat Aviation Brigades at Fort Carson, Colorado and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Training sites to include the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site and Yakima Training Center if either station site is selected.
