Canine Chorus is a compilation of 101 original dog poems dedicated to the dogs we all love. Many pure breed dogs are represented, as well as the loveable mutt, the lonely stray, working dogs in various occupations and dog related activities such as breeding, showing, and hunting. Where would man be without the loyal and loveable friend, the dog.

Dog's Chorus presents an important group of recent drawings by Roni Horn. Following up on the 2016 Th Rose Prblm , Horn cuts apart original drawings of texts and reassembles the fragments into compo- sitions that are cumulative, complex and changeable. In Dog's Chorus Horn combines a line from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar with common idioms, playfully questioning the meanings of language and identity.

This book is co-authored by eighteen dogs, all of whom have lived with the author at one time or another. The dogs lend a unique perspective into their behaviors, adventures, illnesses, accidents and humorus episodes.
