This book is based on the conference held at the Charles B. Wang Center, Stony Brook University on March 24-25, 2017. "Documenting Korean Costume: Primary Sources and New Interpretations" have invited eleven scholars of dress history and fashion studies to discuss function and meaning of primary sources in Korean dress history. The legacy of Korean dress, as seen in archaeological findings and museum artifacts, is analyzed in comparison to the dress and fashions of other Asian countries. Korean dress and accessories have evolved into varied forms in modern times.
