This study monitors and evaluates the Family Center Demonstration Project in Hawaii. The study attempts to assess the impact of family centers upon the communities served, discusses legislation that may facilitate the continuation or expansion of the project, and describes one process by which family centers could be allocated resources. It's purpose is to build upon the knowledge of previous evaluations in order to increase the depth and breadth of this knowledge &, consequently, people's understanding of the demonstration project.
