Big Rockets, Deep Pockets is a fanciful roman 'a clef ramble through the space age, highlighting some of the characters and adventures that took place not only in space but at suppliers facilities across the nation. From the Oklahoma redneck welder Grady Green, whose competitors believe to be a crafty and devious manipulator but must respect, if not his methods, the results they achieve as president and CEO of Tulsa Fabricators, to Cray Reynolds, young rodeo cowboy and his partner Fess, whom Grady subsidizes illicitly but unknown to them, by misapropriation of Government funds. Such activities worry Milli Angei, Grady's beautiful Girl Friday whose job it is to manage the technical and legal details that Grady chooses to ignore. Milli's leisure time activity is membership in and exclusive nudist resort. And Ben Okara, decorated Nisei war veteran, now supervisor of on-site inspection for Space Air Corporation. Avoiding conflict of interest, the friendship between Grady and Ben is an anomaly to say the least. We also meet Hans Frederick, President of Tech Nitro Technology (TNT), Ben's closest and most trusted friend. Hans has a capricious side, he is also owner of a bar employing sixty scantily clad girls.

Now updated and revised--from Forbes senior editor, a compelling portrait of American rapper Jay Z and his rise from the Brooklyn projects to the top of the business world. Only a handful of people embody the legacy of hip-hop and entrepreneurship like Jay Z. A modern-day King Midas, everything he touches--sports bars, streaming services, record labels, and cognac--turns to gold. How exactly did he do it? Forbes senior editor Zack O'Malley Greenburg reveals the story of Jay Z's legendary rise from the Marcy Projects of Brooklyn to stages and corner offices worldwide. He draws on over 100 interviews with those who knew Jay Z from the beginning: his classmates at George Westinghouse High School; the childhood friend who got him into the drug trade; and the DJ who convinced him to stop dealing and focus on the music. Also bearing witness are the artists who worked alongside him, including J. Cole and Alicia Keys. Jay Z's life is a blueprint for any hustler, businessperson, and entrepreneur who seeks to build something spectacular.

Full Size Fords: 1955-1970 is a fascinating retrospective of the cars - the design process, manufacturing, equipment packages, and a thorough listing of options, interior patterns, and paint codes. All models from 1955 to 1970 that brought Ford to dominance in the full-size category are revealed in compelling detail. The introduction of the Galaxie, the development of the Skyliner retractable roof car, the radical redesign of the 1960 models to counter Chevy's new sedan, and much more is covered. Period magazine reviews provide insight and perspective of the driving experience and performance of various full-size models. A fascinating retrospective on Ford Y-Block engines as well as Ford FE engine family and the new for 1970 Lima series engine is also provided. In addition, author David Temple examines Ford's racing exploits, featuring the dual-quad 427 Cammer engine, the Galaxie Grand National race car, and factory and lightweight drag cars.
