Dakota and the Magical Garden is the authors second book. Alice has taught special education for 30 years, supports the lupus and osteoporosis foundations, and is active in Valley Cat Rescue of Wilkes Barre Pa. Colleen graduated from Wilkes University in 1999 and has since been making her way as an artist and a writer. She's been studying all forms of art for the last 15 years, though this is her first attempt atchildren's book illustration.
