This volume is based on the proceedings of the National Conference on Training in Community Psychology held in Austin, Texas, in April 1975. The primary goal of the National Conference on Training in Community Psychology was to examine systematically the many questions and issues that have arisen with regard to appropriate models for doctoral training in community psychology. Analyses of current training models and approaches, discussions of central training issues, commentaries on critical training problems, and efforts to clarify future direction and trends are reported in these conference proceedings.
