This volume is devoted to some topical problems and various applications of operator theory and its interplay with modern complex analysis. 30 carefully selected surveys and research papers are united by the "operator theoretic ideology" and systematic use of modern function theoretical techniques.

This volume, addressed to researchers and postgraduate students, compiles up-to-date research and expository papers on different aspects of complex analysis, including relations to operator theory and hypercomplex analysis. Subjects include the Schrödinger equation, subelliptic operators, Lie algebras and superalgebras, among others.

This volume grew out of a conference in honor of Boris Korenblum on the occasion of his 80th birthday, held in Barcelona, Spain, November 20-22, 2003. The book is of interest to researchers and graduate students working in the theory of spaces of analytic function, and, in particular, in the theory of Bergman spaces.

This volume presents a set of papers based on the proceedings of the NATO Advanced Research Workshop on Multisensor Fusion for Computer Vision, held in Grenoble, France, in June 1989. The workshop focused on the fusion or integration of sensor information to achieve the optimum interpretation of a scene. The papers cover a broad range of topics, including principles and issues in multisensor fusion, information fusion for navigation, multisensor fusion for object recognition, network approaches to multisensor fusion, computer architectures for multisensor fusion, and applications of multisensor fusion. The authors have documented their own research and, in so doing,have presented the state of the art in the field. Each author is a recognized leader in his or her area in the academic, governmental, or industrial research community. Several contributors present novel points of view on the integration of information. The book gives a representative picture of current progress in multisensor fusion for computer vision among the leading research groups in Europe and North America.

The main subjects of the volume include: - spectral analysis of periodic differential operators and delay equations, stabilizing controllers, Fourier multipliers; - multivariable operator theory, model theory, commutant lifting theorems, coisometric realizations; - Hankel operators and forms; - operator algebras; - the Bellman function approach in singular integrals and harmonic analysis, singular integral operators and integral representations; - approximation in holomorphic spaces. These subjects are unified by the common "operator theoretic approach" and the systematic use of modern function theory techniques.
