Woodruff of Cornell University, commenting briefly but favorably on Woodruff's story of General Sickles and Daniel Webster. The 1908 letter is on letterhead of the Executive Chamber, State of New York, in Albany; the 1930 letter is on letterhead of the Supreme Court. With these is an undated autograph (circa 1908).
