The flowers are deep, even pink, very large and full, highly perfumed, and of first quality in every respect. Perle des J ardins. We have had many new yellow roses since the introduction of Perle, which, from every description, were to supercede it; but as yet it stands pre-eminent as the most valuable rose ever cultivated. For winter flowering it has no equal; also equally valuable for the border in summer. Flowers large and full, of good form and a rich shade of yellow; grand foliage, beautiful in itself with its lovely crimson shadings on the young growth. The Bride. Pure white, of large size and most perfect form. The buds are pointed and edge of petals slightly turned back. Has delicious fragrance. A strong grower and free bloomer, either for summer or winter flowering. Excellent for all purposes. A. But hybridized and improved in France, will have a rapidly increasing popularity as it becomes better known. The first sorts were of scanty blooming habit, but those now presented are as near the true everblooming habit as can be desired - their lovely clusters of owers are produced coincident with their leaves in earliest spring, and are succeeded by increasing abundance of bloom until stopped by frost. That they have proven absolutely hardy in the severest weather is not their least merit; they will, of course, be better for the simple justice of a little protection from the chill blasts of winter.
